阮文韜於 2007 年在倫敦創立了Groundwork元新建城建築+城市設計有限公司，於 2011 年在香港創立Groundwork元新建城建築師事務有限公司， 并于2018年成立Groundwork深圳分公司。自 2007 年起，阮文韜除了建築實踐外，還曾在倫敦京斯敦大學和香港理工大學設計學院擔任客座講師，教授建築設計和歷史。 在創建元新建城之前，阮文韜畢業于劍橋大學建築系和香港大學建築系(一等榮譽)。他曾任於在倫敦五角星Pentagram Design, London, 和奧地利藍天組Coop-Himmelb(l)au，負責中國業務統籌。 阮文韜曾任東華三院、國際樂施會、童軍總會、香港藝術教育學會、深圳婦女聯合會等多個團體的榮譽顧問。所獲知名獎項包括 2010 年義大利世界建築雜誌“下一代的建築大師”作為 45 位 40 歲以下特色世界建築師之一。 2011 年獲透現雜誌入選 “40驕子”，2019 年獲FA獎“中國40位40歲以下青年建築師”。阮文韜亦是“2013 香港精神獎”獎項的獲得者，該獎項旨在頌揚傑出的香港市民為建設更美好的城市所作出的貢獻。 Groundwork元新建城旨在全球實現建築、藝術和社會專案（義大利，德國，英國，中國，新加坡，柬埔寨和香港）。過去八年來，元新建城一直與香港政府合作，通過公眾參與和研究來發展我們未來的兒童遊樂場和小販攤檔政策。 2019年，阮文韜應邀在深圳發表TEDX演講，宣導人文建築和建築師的社會責任。 除了專業之外，阮文韜還是一位專欄作家，為多家雜誌撰稿。 >

Manfred is the founder of Groundwork Architecture + Urbanism, London in 2007 and the co-founder of Groundwork Architects + Associates, Hong Kong and Shenzhen in 2011. Since 2007, apart from his practice, Manfred also served as a visiting lecturer at Kingston University, London and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, teaching architecture design and history. Prior to the founding of Groundwork, Manfred received his architectural training at the University of Cambridge and the University of Hong Kong (with First Class Honour). Manfred had worked with Coop-Himmelb(l)au, Vienna, where he was responsible for their operations in China. Manfred is serving as honourable adviser for various organizations, such as the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Oxfam International, Scout Association and HK Society of Education of Arts, and the Shenzhen Women Federation. Some of his notable awards include the “40-under-40 Design Talents/Asia” (2011) ” The Next Generation Architects, Backstage Architecture, Italy” (2010), and the 40 under 40 FA Emerging Chinese Architects (2019). Manfred is also the recipient of the Spirit of Hong Kong 2013 Award, an award that celebrates the achievements of remarkable Hong Kong people who make our city a better place.
